Discontinuations: BPAL May 5

Effective as of May 5, 2011, Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs has discontinued the following scent:

Serpents with Glittering Eyes and Forking Tongues

Can’t say I knew this fragrance well but BPAL is forced to discontinue it due to component issues. May is shaping up to be a rough month.

Effective as of March 17, 2011, Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs has discontinued the following scent:

Silk Road

I believe I have an imp of Silk Road kicking around somewhere but have yet to try it. Shame that the string of discontinuations doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all.

Effective as of January 18, 2011, Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs has discontinued the following scents:

The Unicorn
Melancholia
Pannychis
The Macabray
Cottonmouth
Little Sparrow
I Died for Beauty
Ether
The High Priest Not to be Described

In that list, The Unicorn is particularly devastating to me. It was my favorite scent from their line.

Sad news for a limited edition fragrance in the Christmas Carol collection for 2010. Due to a component issue, the Lab has announced they must discontinue:

Mr. Fezziwig’s Ball

As of November 24, 2010. Unfortunately, you will not be able to make any new orders for this fragrance.

Discontinuation: BPAL Nov 17

As of November 17, 2010, Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs has announced the discontinuation of the following scents:

Black Dahlia
Ile de la Tortuga
Magdalene
Psyche
Sundew

There is still some time for you to pick up these scents before they are discontinued. I’m not a fan of any of the fragrances listed here but I know some of you out there might be. So I hope you can pick up a bottle before they disappear.

Some bad news on the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab discontinuation front. As of November 12, 2010, the following scents are being discontinued immediately:

Midnight on the Midway
Gluttony
Fairy Market
The Great Red Dragon
Phantom Queen
Regan
Suspiro
Sophia
Shadow Witch Orchid
Pais de la Canela
March Hare
The Coil
Midnight
Moon Rose
Niflheim
Nuit
Silence
Flora
Szepasszony
Violet Ray

Of these discontinuations, Szepasszony, Niflheim, Phantom Queen, and Shadow Witch Orchid really hit hard. I had been meaning to get a big bottle of Niflheim for a while. It was one of the first BPALs I ever tried and it is really too bad it’s being discontinued. There are more fragrances on the chopping block for Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs which I will detail in the post immediately following this one.

I think this information might prove useful or informational to some readers who may not know where to find this. You can always read new updates from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab on their news page, but here is the most recent discontinuation of General Catalog scents from BPAL as of August 12, 2010:

You will no longer be able to put in an order for these scents but these can probably still be purchased on the secondary market.
